calluses and bad teeth help

I fixed my title as i found out what they are called

my new adopted lab has these rough scab like patches of hairless skin on his elbows and feet, ive hear this happens to dogs that sleep on pavement all there lives but ive never seen it in person as my dogs are mostly indoor dogs. Is there something to cure this or once it happens there is no return. He's 6 years old so im guessing he's been outdoors his entire life for it to be this bad.

The second issue is the previous owners never seemed to give him little to no dental care. His teeth are yellow and in very bad condition, short of taking him to the vet is there anything at home that i can do to help till he gets seen?

I would let the vet look at those teeth. If he has any kind of gum irritation brushing could bug him pretty bad. Plus you don't want to go scraping tarter and risk him swallowing any of it. When is he going to see a vet? They will be able to give you a much better clue about is oral condition.

Re: sun spots and bad teeth help

He will be going to vet on sat. It doesnt seemto be effecting his eating at least so i dont think they are hurting him and he has no sensitivity which is good. He eats like a champ I have bones and treats for bad teeth i was thinking of using on him
