Unhappy Capstar question- price?

I know theres fleas as I have seen them, i have treated Faith now and the apartment. I got a flea brush tonight and either im not doing it right or she doesnt have fleas anymore. No fleas were on the brush, just flakes of skin. She is still scratching though.

ETA: is this a good price? Capstar (Feline/K9) $8.90 to $9.77 per App and does she need multiple doses if shes on Advantage?

Re: Fleas question-help

I'm not sure about a flea pill, but I came across an interesting blog the other day- it gives some pretty good advice that seems fairly inexpensive.

Re: Fleas question-help

Make sure you're treating the cat as well....sometimes they harbor fleas. As in, they might have a lot of fleas but don't get itchy so you never know about it. So get Jay some Frontline or Advantage. I like to use Capstar before applying Advantage to knock the flea population down a bit. I guess giving it after is just as good, in case some of the fleas aren't killed by the Advantage right away. You shouldn't need multiple doses, but you might need them anyway. Fleas are becoming immune to the topical treatments.
