Aria's spay

Aria had her spay surgery today. She is home now. Sounds like everything went fine.. she devoured dinner very eagerly, but has been in and out of sleep, has cried/screamed a few times, and has only walked about 6'.

I find this so stressful. I'm sure she'll be ok, but it's so sad at the moment...

Re: Aria's spay

I'm not sure they gave her pain meds, it doesn't seem like it, and they didn't give me anything to give her.

She started licking the wound almost as soon as we put her in the crate for bed time so... I cut the toe off one of my socks, and put it on her like a girdle, to cover the incision site. She was not impressed.

Dad is taking tomorrow off work and will keep an eye on her until I get home at 5:30.. going to be a VERY long day at work!
