Irritation between toes

My mastiff lately has been constantly licking/cleaning the webbing between his toes on all 4 paw. I checked and all four are red and irritated. I have tried distracting him, but as soon as he lays down he starts licking them again. I am afraid of putting lotion or cream on them. It's almost as if he has athletes feet.
Any advice.

Probably not far off.

My Hope has been having that problem, big toes and deep moist area. My vet says she has a yeast infection, and that it may have to do with allergy.

She's on drugs for it, as she got a bacterial infection in the nail bed of her dew claw too.

The vet said to soak her feet in epsom salts, but I'm not sure if that was meant for the yeast infection between her toes, or for her dewclaw.

I think I'm going to try a 50/50 vinegar and water bath between her toes once she's off the drugs if I notice her licking a lot again, that's what I do to keep her ears from getting infected.

Might want to go have the vet scrape it, look in a microscope and ID what kind of bugs are growing in there and bothering him, likely bacteria or a fungus, and treat accordingly.

Re: Irritation between toes

He is going to the vet tomorrow. He definitely needs to see the vet for a diagnosis but I was hoping for something to relieve his discomfort. I think I'll try the epsom salt soak tonite. Thanks.
