Sick? Allergies?

I'm not sure what to think. The last month-6 weeks in Toronto Corona has been "snuffly".. reverse sneezing, snoring a little, sneezing... however, Aria also started reverse sneezing around then for the first time in her life, and I also had bad allergies kick in.

To this point, I chalked it all up to allergies, which I still think it might be.. but I'm wondering if a vet visit for Corona is in order?

We just got back to BC yesterday, and I'm really hoping that my allergies will clear up in the next couple of days, and Corona will follow suit.. but I also don't want to be a neglectful chi-mom.

If it's NOT allergies.. any ideas what it could be?

She is still acting fine.. eating, drinking, eliminating etc.

Re: Sick? Allergies?

Aria might be reverse sneezing because she is copying Corona.

These symptoms don't sound serious to me. Usually allergies will have a few signs not just sneezing. But, yes this is the season for allergies. Watch out for more symptoms (redness, watery eyes, itching). Otherwise, I think there is no need for a vet visit unless it worsens or doesn't go away in a month when winter starts.

Hope it's nothing serious.

Re: Sick? Allergies?

my both dogs have intesive reverse sneasing around the same areas in the park i walk them, randomly, ocasionally, but both of them, more often in the spring; i assume it is some kind of the trigger on the dirt, in the grass, etc; fyi - reverse sneesing is not dangerous at all;good luck
