Ok, my pup did this too, Is what you need to do, it mix the kibble in some peanut butter, and this makes it hard to swallow so it would have to chew. And if that doesnt work, put the kibble on a cookie sheet and sprinkle it with water to make it stick, and put it in the freezer, that way it will have to take off bits of the food and will not choke. Hopw I could've been of some assistance. Good Luck with your pup!

It is common for a dog not to chew kibble, but you don't want them eating so fast that they vomit. You can put items in the bowl to slow her down...kongs work pretty well. Some people use tennis balls or LARGE stones(big enough they can't eat them)...basically anything the dog will have to eat around. Spreading the kibble out on a baking sheet, as mentioned earlier, or feeding out of a bundt pan. Elevating the bowl will also slow some dogs down.

you can also hand feed one piece at a time until she gets the message. I have one speed eater but she doesn't vomit, just doesn't chew.

You could try throwing the kibble over the back yard, that way your puppy would have to search out each piece.
