Unhappy Lab wont eat, drink, breathing heavy

I have a 2 year old Labrador Retriever and about three weeks ago he started limping with his right front leg. I gave it three days and when I seen it was getting worse and his breathing changed I rushed him to the vet. They checked to make sure it wasn't broken and gave me an anti inflammatory prescription for him and said in three days if he wasn't better to take him back for more tests. The prescription helped with his breathing problem but he has been downhill from there. He spent a week in the vet with an IV hooked up to his leg to keep him hydrated but now that I have him home he wont eat or drink. I have to force feed him a high protein soft food with a spoon on the back of his tongue and force water in his mouth with a syringe. They have him on Doxycycline 100mg, Amoxicillin 500mg, and Predisolone 20mg. He isn't gaining any weight and has been going downhill fast. The vet has been looking over their books and cant find out what is wrong. Worms have been ruled out and his blood was checked for poisons. Has anyone ever experienced these symptoms? I have no idea where to start and my money is slowly running out, I can only go as far as my bank account will allow me. This is driving me crazy!

I don't have any advice for you, I would just like to send my prayers, and hope your dog gets better. I have two labs, my older one has never been sick, buy my puppy, for the first 4 or 5 months got chronic Gyardia. It drains the bank account fast. I don't know what I would do without my dogs. My husband is deployed, so they are all I have right now, and I hate when they are sick. So I hope he gets better!!

I don't know what area you are in but could it be blastomycosis?
