Husky running on Streets-Cement

Hi,

So I bought a mountain bike and my 5 year old Husky-Lab just loves to come along for the ride with no leesh, just a harness in case I really neeed to ever hold him from somewhere and he listens to every command from stop, to slow down, to come on the side, to dont pipi there, etc.

He runs and even recognizes when I tell him you want to race? He immediately starts running really fast even faster than me with the bike but slows down, especially near corners.

My question is, is a dog that is running or following quickly with occasional slowing down ever minute or so, up until we reach a park, bad for his health? Can running too much on streets-cement casue future hip dysplasia or other health problems?

Thx in advance for any input.

I'm no expert, but I would be very concerned about letting a husky off leash.
They are free spirits and could decide to run.

Also, if the payment is very hot, couldn't it hurt the paw pads?

My husky lab doesnt run away anymore, he understands stop, slow down, no, come.......

Pavement is rarely hot here

When he was 6months-2 years of age this would not have been possibe to do, but now it is, I could have started last year.

Should be perfectly fine, plus he's not a puppy so it's not like it will affect his growing bones.

My dogs play fetch on cement floor ALL the time, run top speed do quick stops and turns to get the ball.
