Unhappy bitch humping bed!, due to get spayed, is that ok?

Hi I've just booked my my dog bella in at the vets to get her spayed shes a rescue dog and is 1 and 3months old. I've had her since october and had planned to get her done in november but she came into season and I was told to wait until 2months after she had came off season before getting her booked in.

It has now been almost 3 months since she finshed so got her booked for tuesday.

However now I'm confussed as I've noticed she's humping her bed! Is it normal for bitches to do this? will it effect her being spayed?

pls pls pls help!

thank you:

It's normal, and it will have no effect on her being spayed.

Becky started to hump me after being spayed. Some members taught me
it was dominent issue. Well, she went through a lot during short period time.
Being resucued from shelter, got infected twice and then heat, right after that she got spayed. So I kinda accepted natural for her going through some strange behavior.

After hearing it's dominence issue, (anyway I had to stop her) I firmly said no everytime she tried. She stopped after couple of times I said No to her.
She recoverd perfectly from spay without infection. I wouldn't worry too much, just say no to her everytime she humps the bed.

Spaying should be considered for the considerable health benefits, and not as a means for behavior modification. Behavior modification is done with training. So, just because you're dog is being spayed, this does not relieve you of the fact that for-life training is still required.
