16 month old golden with blood filled soft tissue masses

I took my 16 month old female golden retriever to the vet for her booster, and had the vet check a lump that I felt right below her shoulder blade on her left side. I had just noticed this that morning. The vet then felt the other side and said that she also felt a lump in the same location on the other side, one about 7cm, and the other about 4cm. She then told me that she wanted to biposy both sides. When she walked back into the exam room with two syringes filled with blood and told me that this is what came out of the soft tissue mass, I almost fainted! She said that she would have to test on some slides there, but with my permission would send some of it out to another lab for further testing. She mentioned the possibility of cancer and possibly the blood not clotting properly. She told me that the results from the lab may not be in for a few days. I also have another 16 month old golden, who is her littermate, and I admit, they play pretty rough together. The vet asked if my Lexie(female) was injured, or if there was any possible trauma to the area. My first response was no. The vet and I both agreed about how strange it is that the masses are the same on both sides. Both of my goldens grab each other by the back and the back of the neck sometimes when they play. The vet called me later that night to tell me that everything came back ok on their part(blood clotting ok, little if any white cells, red cell count ok with little debris). We are anxiously awaiting for the results from the other lab, which may not come back until today or possibly even Monday...yikes! I am so scared. I just want my girl to be ok! Any thoughts or similarities please let me know.

Here is somewhat of an update. I didn't get the results yet, but I did speak to my breeder asking him if he's ever experienced this before. He said that actually he has, and they were hematomas caused by the dogs being rough with one another during play. He seems to think that it may be possible that this happened on both sides due to possible pulling and twisting may have gotten a ligament. He said sometimes they actually clot on their own, but sometimes they may have to put a drain in. I guess we will see after we get the results...it did make me feel better though, knowing that he went through a similar problem. He said he'd be concerned if the lymphnodes were swollen around the armpit, but they are not, so we will continue to hope for the best!
