Unhappy bathroom problem

we have a great pyrenees that is having experiencing going problems, we have spent a lot of money trying to rectify the situation to no avail, we have tried different foods, mineral oil, stool softeners, you name it we have tried it. our vet, Dr. billings, who we have complete confidence in, has ran all kinds of test including a "barium x-ray?????" and they have checked him for blockage. what happens is he will all of a sudden cry out and then go to the bathroom almost uncontrollably and his poop is dry and chalky /and or regular looking but very very firm, he cries like a baby and its like it "surprises" him when it hits him, he has never had any internal injuries that we are aware of unless if one of our goats did something to him, but all his medical reports, test, and x-rays look great. any advice or recommendations will be much appreciated

Dry and chalky sounds like too much calcium. What kind of diet is your dog on?

If you are in fact feeding raw, cut back on the bones. Bones should roughly make up 10-15% of your dogs diet. As I said before, chalky stool sounds like too much calcium.
If you are not feeding raw than I am at a loss.
