help with puppy eyes!

Hi, i recently adopted a 3 month old pup and ive had him for about two months now. Since day one, i noticed something strange about his eyes and nobody has been able to help. Across the iris, the color part of the eye, there is a wierd line thats the same color as the iris. its light brown just like his eyes, and looks like a hair laying across the iris, but its not. It literally is like a string of the iris going across the eye. it does not go across the pupil, and even moves and contracts as the pupil does. its like a zigzag line right left to right across the iris. It doesnt seem to bother him but is it something serious?

Sounds like a harmless variation in coloring in the iris. There are several color variations in the eyes and if your dog has light colored iris you will notice them more. When all else fails have your vet look at it, but it sounds normal to me.
