We use either frontline or advantage for fleas. Panacur for worming, though sometimes will use drontal.

Advantage/Advantix (but currently trying Revolution) for fleas/ticks. I use Interceptor for heartworm (and a bunch of intestial parasites) when I'm not using Revolution.

Deworming is only done on an as-needed basis (so far, all poops have checked negative) and would be whatever the vet prescribes depending on the parasite.

Talking Flea and tick support group

We generally don't have problems with fleas and any ticks found just get pulled off (gently).

This is an interesting blog/video. Has anyone else seen it? The group is supporting fleas and ticks.

OUr vet has Bearla and our other animals on meds that protect them from fleas, ticks, heartworm, etc all year round.

When our puppies are small we always treat them with Pancur for worms. Most pups are born with them did you know that?

Well, they're not exactly born with worms, but they can get them shortly after birth from nursing.

I give Zavie Interceptor for heartworms and whatever else it protects against.

For flea/tick we use Bio-Spot.

He's never had a problem with worms, but if he did it would be whatever the vet prescribed for him. I don't trust the OTC stuff.
