| 40 lb mixed breed dog with a CCL rupture in the rear left leg
My dog was diagnosed with a Cranial Cruciate Ligament Rupture yesterday and I was told that the best option is a extra capsular surgery, which was estimated to cost $2000. Bandit is an 8 year old dog in very good health, other than this torn ligament. I can't afford the surgery at the moment and it would probably take me half a year to save up enough money. I need to know if there are any other options that are cheaper and could provide my dog a happy, healthy lifestyle, or any ways to find the money or find a cheaper surgery. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. This dog means a lot to me. |
