Unhappy Need Advice

Hello I am new to this forum and hopefully we can get some great advice. Our 1yr old Lab as started throwing up over the past month. We have changed dog food to a sensitive stomach food per our vet and also cut down on her consumption. Her stools look fine, but it seems she is doing some extra straining. She still is a very, very active pup. If you have any advice please let us know. Thanks

Re: Need Advice

Have you beed to a vet? If not that's the FIRST thing I'd do. If so, we'd need ALOT more details to give you ANY guidance.

Re: Need Advice

Hi
Did your vet checked the dog for Helicobacter? One of my dogs (dead now- from other cause) use to sufer from some discomfort in the stomach.Sometimes eating grass, sometimes vomiting until one day that she was non stop vomiting and evacuating blood.
Well, we finish operating her ( to see what was going on inside)And it was Helicobacter pilory ( the bacteria that suposely produces stomach ulcers)Later she was OK but we always kept the precaution trying to protect her from a relapse. It did not.But of course, no junk, no grease, no sugar, no flour etc... The idea is to check the dog for bacterias also.Hope your dog gets well really soon.- myraida
