pup has potty problem

Today Storm has not been acting like herself, she isn't eating like normal, she is eating though, but normally she eats very fast and acts like she can't get enough, today she takes a few bits and then she wants to go outside and she poops but it is not very much and is very runny. She has pooped four times in the last hour. She has had all of her vaccines up to date. Can anyone tell me what could be going on. Thanks

Your pup may just have a stomach upset, and if so, a bland diet of plain gerber chicken baby food, or plain white meat chicken with white rice fed instead of her regular diet, will help to settle her tummy. Keep her on this diet for a few days, and then slowly switch back to her regular food over another few days as long as things are back to normal. If she is lethargic, and/or vomiting too, or if the diarrhea doesn't stop, she needs to see a vet right away. If this is a puppy, watch very closely, because this could be the beginning signs of Parvo.

The chicken/rice combo should be given at a ratio of 1/4 to 1/3 chicken (canned is fine) and 3/4 to 2/3 rice (minute rice is fine). Feed the same vomume as you would her regular food.

Has she had a fecal parasite test done to check for intestinal parasites? It should be done if not.

Hey, I think your doggie's stomch is not feeling well. when my pug ( mei-mei ) was like that I use this product, it's really cool.

It contains peppermint and fennel to slay the fire breathing beast but it's more than just a breath freshener. Dog Smog Remedy gets to the guts of the problem with herbal extracts of dill, parsley ginger and bromelain. All of these ingredients help calm the bubbling brute below and provide a long term solution to an embarrassing problem. http://www.fancylulu.com/servlet/Detail?no=86
