Fingers crossed everyone please

My 2 year old Jack russell Stan has been taking Beta-Blockers for the last 18 months as he has Hypertrophic Cardimyopathy. Tomorrow is the big day, he is going for a heart scan to see if his heart has healed. If it hasn't then it will be beta-blockers for the rest of his life and his life span will most probably be significantly decreased. If it has then he will become a normal jack russell again! We took him to our regular vet a few months ago and she was pretty postive, said his heart rate and pulse was normal So I'm asking you all to please cross your fingers and send us some positive thoughts for tomorrow. We have to travel for about an hour to the heart specialist and he's got to stay there all day
Will post the outcome tomorrow night
Lou & Stan

Re: Fingers crossed everyone please

Well all good Stan has been given the all clear although he is gona stay on his beta blockers for another year just to be on the safe side. His blood speed levels!?! (think that's right) were 5 eighteen months ago, a healthy dog's should be less than 1.5, he's now down to 1.7
So he's getting lots of cuddles tonight and mummy feels a lot calme!!
Thanks for all your good thoughts they worked
