I have 2 small dogs, a 7 yr.old and a 1 1/2 yr. old. I will be getting a lab pup in a few weeks and the breeder recommends NuVet Plus for the life of the lab and also for my other 2 dogs. I have researched and found this NuVet brand to be rather pricey.. There is a brand called Mountain Naturals which seems to contain same ingredients at a considerable savings.
Would appreciate your input as to brands you have used and had good results with.

Your breeder is probably not reputable, sad to say Most breeders who recommend this have another agenda ($$). They also usually say if you don't feed this 24/7/365, their warranty is invalid, etc., etc.
Any chance you'd go to another breeder?
Dogs do NOT need those supplements - they just need to be fed a good diet
That's what I was thinking, and you're right....guarantee invalid if not on these vitamins.
I have started weaning my 2 girls from kibble and introducing fresh meat, veggies and fruit....and will gradually feed the new lab the same.
