Found Collie's weird teeth...

They look broken off or badly decayed or something. My lousy pic taking skills aside. If you can see the bottom picture, her top front teeth look like they are chipped?

Looks like he needs a good dental cleaning. Your vet will clean those babies up so he looks young again and feels much better.

Re: Found Collie's weird teeth...

This is the dog I almost hit in the middle of the road night before last. She had a choke collar and a half dry rotted nylon lead tied to it. No tags, of course. No clue how long she'd been wandering. My husband doesn't think she'd been wandering loose for too long. She was hungry, but not skinny-skinny. So maybe 2-3 days on the loose? She is matted horribly though. So, first on the list for her is a vet. (I don't want her to get Ginger sick.) Then a trip to a groomer to bathe and cut if she can be calm enough for them to let her do that. (I'm gonna look for her owner, but if we can't find them I guess she's hanging out with us.)

I am glad she has a home either way. It is good of you to take her in. Even nicer of you to have her to the vet. Not a lot of people make those commitments to dogs. Her teeth will look good after a good dental cleaning from the vet. If you should get to that point. Good Luck with her.
