I have a pet shihtzu that recently had surgery for intestinal issues the prescribed antibiotic is baytril . After giving him his first oral dosage here at home he vomited and is now shaking. There are no vet e.r.s in the rural area in which i live he seems to be alright but i was wondering if anyone had similar issues with baytril and if i should drive the 76 miles to the closest vet er or if he would probably be alright til tomorrow.
could be from meds i have a young female boston that had kennel cough had been on meds for it she was on her 3rd round when she stared trowing up and got hives took her off and let it get out of her system she was almost better at that point your dog could be haveing reaction to meds or could be throwing up trying to get anistesia out of her system i am not sure how long from surgery she has been if she is fine now could wait till morning to call vet.
