sneezing? tumor on front leg?

ok so we got a yellow lab from a lady on craigslist yesterday. she gave me all of his paperwork...and it seems like hes been treated for kennel cough a couple of times, and jumped off the back of a truck back in his younger days...

well he sneezes,, not alot, not a little. atleast 5 or so times since weve gotten him. does he have allergies? what do you think? i have no idea if its even anything to be concerned with.

as far as this tumor thing, its on his left front leg and the first bend (not sure that this is called, but the "knee" that bends backwards)

its soft, and doesnt bother him...almost feels like a sac of fluid. once again, i have no idea if this is something to worry about, and obviously ill mention it to the vet when we go, but thought i would ask here just incase

Re: sneezing? tumor on front leg?

I don't think any of us can help much with the tumor. It does sound a lot like the tumors my dog Cassandra gets -- We have had a couple of them removed and they were benign. In one case, our vet showed us a technique to drain them when located in an uncomfortable area, but I'd definitely want to have a vet's opinion before doing something like that, and also their opinion on what the tumor was first.

I did have a dog that sneezed due to allergies during certain times of the year. Boy, she really didn't like ragweed! Again, mention it to the vet and get their opinion. My girl just stayed on OTC benadryl during the bad seasons, which for her were pretty much all year except winter. But it is always best to get a vet's opinion before trying to treat at home - especially if it's only been 5 sneezes or so, she probably won't be too uncomfortable waiting for a vet's input.
