Question tiny pink bumps on cocker

Hello,

my 11 year old boy started to develop tiny little bumps on his body. the vet tells me that it's nothing and he can just "clip them off" with a small operation. they look like mini nipples, and tick size... has anyone had this problem? I think i will get a second opinion on them. i dont want my pup to be covered by them if there's anyway to stop, i'd like to know. they've been spreading around his body within the past 12 months. Now, he has 6. I am most disturbed to see a new one on his cheek. *sigh*

I have a 12 year old cocker and he has the same things, Vet said not to worry, just a part of old age.

They are benign growths, and extremely common in older dogs. Basset hounds get them all the time. Basset owners usually have them taken off if they are on the belly, since they tend to get scraped on the ground, etc, in a heavier dog.

The pink bumps could just be warts...we had a toy poodle and as she got older she started to develope warts and they look like pink tick sized bumps and they can get them anywhere on the body

I agree more like warts, as skin ages it get warts, moles, etc. Part of the aging process and I doubt if cancer if the vet is not worried, I would just go with the flow honey. Maybe bath it in oatmeal based shampoo to ease the condition.
