| Pinched nerve?
Hi. My 4 year old mini-aussie, Karma, is a bolt of lightning in and out of the house. A couple of nights ago while chasing a tennis ball, she collapsed in severe pain. One of the local vets said he thought it may be a ruptured disk but since she has lost feeling and muscle control in only her left rear leg, another consulting vet is leaning towards a pinched nerve. Prednisone is what they gave me to give to her. She uses the leg somewhat like a crutch, but kind of drags it and steps down on the top of the foot instead of the pad about 1/4 of the time. Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |
