PS: She has come to a point where she hits her own her on the floor because the Fleas are driving her crazy. I want to help her ASAP i cant see her another say like this. She scratches so much she had taken her hair from her back legs almost out.

Also can this be something else than Fleas? Maybe mites or something alike?

There is a possibility she could have picked up a sarcoptic mite - my advice is take a trip to the vet and discuss options. Your vet will recommend the best brand for you, be it Frontline, K9 dvantix, or Revolution. If the raw areas look particularly troubling, consider getting a skin scrape to make sure it isn't mange. Most likely, she is simply suffering from a case of fleas, and some simple meds will fix her up In the meanwhile from going to the vet, try to get her some mild soothing shampoo to ease her itching anxiety

Well Frontline, K9 Advantix and Advantage are all great (can buy at a vets office or online). Some of these also cover ticks and mites too. I suggest using one of those rather than something you can pick up at a pet store, they really don't work at all.

But....if the fleas are really bad, they might not help until you have your house sprayed first. These meds work wonders for infestations that have started up on your pet, but once they get out of control and all over the house as well, they won't work. Good thing is, once you have it under control, if you keep the dog on them monthly, you won't need to worry about fleas again.

Just for some insight, the life cycle of a flea is about 30 days, so it takes no time at all for them to get extrememly out of control.

Thanks so much i will make an app to the vet tomorrow then. I need to get her meds ASAP. I will also have to get to spray because if i dont it will just start all over. Im not going to spend my money on some worthless market meds they are NOT going to work at all.

Thanks

Hmmm, Didn't we just discuss this and you said you went to the vet a few days ago and discussed the fleas and all the intestinal parasites she had????

Did the vet not recommend a flea treatment at that time??????

Odd.

Sounds good Hope she get's better soon.

Just remember, for treating your house be very careful with the products you use. Some can leave harmful residues on the house that your dog may find, or can be so potent, that leaving the house for 5 hours is required.
