| cushings?

Can anyone give me some advice please, im starting to lose all faith in vets lately. my dog (mini dashund) was missdiagnosed with heart failure in december, then the vet decided she had lung desease, which she is now on corvental and prednicare for it. But i took her to the vet today as she has all of a sudden gone deaf in one ear to get some drops and he mentioned her pot belly and hair thinninghe felt her tummy and said her liver was enlarged, he said it could be cushing desease or it could be caused by the steriods she is on (prednicare) but he said not to stop her prednicare as it helps her lungs? i really dont know what to do for the best, i want to stop the preds if it is causing these symptoms as she has enough to deal with in her life as she has SARDS (since she was 3yrs old) and deaf in one ear, lungs inflamed and now cushings symptoms, my poor baby i just want to do whats right by her, can anyone offer any advice please? |
