Daschund Skin Problems

My dog is loosing hair around his eyes, developing scabs around his eyes and on his body. He is a minature long haired daschund any help would be nice.

Me and my mom have taken him to a vet repeatedly for this. He's been on steriods and some form of ointment for his eyes. The vets are unsure of what's wrong with him. We think he may have some sort of allergies, but currently don't have the money to pay for it.

Yeah i believe this might be some sort of allergies. Some allergies are difficult than other. Sometimes people are caught in different situations when it comes to paying for it. When you got the dog you knew what it ment "commitment" so please try to find a way to buy some meds and try to cure him. I understand when there is no money one goes crazy. It has happend to me too. But i rather cure my dog sometimes than eat. My dog still a puppy and no issues so far.

What sort of testing has been done on this dog? Has a skin scraping to check for mites been done? Any thing else? Any other medications?

(Leila---No issues so far?????? Your dog has 3 kinds of intestinal parasites, so many fleas that she is scratching herself raw, and may be pregnant at 6 months, and you aren't even going to do the responsible thing and get her spayed because you want to breed her later and make mixed breed pups. Oh, believe me hun, you have issues!!!!!)
