 Itchy Dog!!!
My dog just came home from the doggie day camp and boy is she itchy!! I use Advantage for flea and tick control and I can't see any bugs on her when I check behind her ears, on her head, in between her toes, or anywhere else on her. Also, she is leaving clumps of fur behind on the carpet. Now, she is a really hairy dog and no matter how much I groom her she will always leave fur on the carpet, but she seems to be leaving more now. A lot more.
I am going to take her to the vet as soon as I can on Tuesday, but is there any kind of shampoo or bath I could use to make her more comfortable?
Also, my mother in law told me about her friend that stopped taking her dog to a certain kennel because the dog would always come home with something called "kennel itch". I have tried researching it this morning, but nothing concrete comes up. Do any of you know about it? I have worked with dogs before and have never heard of "kennel itch". |
