Unhappy Soft Green Stool

I have a 12 week old Bichon that for the past few days, has not been eating all of his food (Purina Puppy Chow for the past week) and has developed soft/runny and sometimes green stool. The vet cleared him of his previous giardia on Wednesday.

  1. On Wednesday he received the bordetella vaccine.
  2. Thursday night/Friday morning he seemed to clear out his bowels (it was quite a bit).
  3. Friday morning, he had small, runny, green stool.
  4. Friday he started sneezing
  5. Friday/Saturday - not eating very much, soft/green stool
  6. And, as I write this I am more than sure that he is passing gas
Other than the vaccine, and the change in food, nothing else has changed? I did start with a dog walker on Tuesday and I can only hope that she is watching what he picks up, but that is hard to do with a puppy?

BTW, I am going to be transitioning his food back to Royal Canin starting this evening.

Other than that, he is happy and energetic. Am I being overly protective? Is there anything else I should be looking for or need to change?

Re: Soft Green Stool

I'd call the vet to be on the safe side.
