K9 Advantix

I recently moved and I am close to some great hiking trails that I have been taking my dog on. As a precaution I got k9 Advantix, four month supply. But, I was wondering, is it waterproof? I noticed it left an oil streak on her back and I want to give her a bath but I don't know how long I should wait or if I should do it at all, I couldn't find info on the package about it. Also, is Frontline a pill? Because if it is I think I would prefer that to the oil drops.

Thanks

Re: K9 Advantix

You may bathe her if you use "soapless" shampoo. Usually you bathe beforehand not after and you wait 24-48 hours before applying. The streak will probably disappear in a couple of days. Frontline is applied the same way.

Any questions I would call the 800 # on the package to be sure.

Re: K9 Advantix

I know you can bathe a dog on Advantix, if you use the right shampoo. But I don't know how long you should wait. It might be in the instruction booklet, or you could call the company. I've never found a bath to be necessary.....if the oily streak is still there after a couple of days, you can rub cornstarch (or baby powder) on it, and it will brush right out.
