| What could this be? I dont think this is a big urgent thing, but if he needs to go to the vet I will surely take him. Just wondering what this could be from... The only thing I could think of is while he eats the raw chicken, if it is rubbing against his lip really hard.. but he just pretty much puts the whole thing in his mouth and chews. Erik noticed this on Wedneday and just remembered to tell me last night Boys lol.
Its not the greatest pic in the world, but my camera kept washing it out so I used my cell phone. Its like right below my finger, and theres fur missing and its all bumpy and scabby. ANY ideas? |

| Re: What could this be? Sorry, I have no clue what it could be. Maybe something to do with the raw food?? I hope it doesn't spread, if so you better have your vet check it out. |

| Re: What could this be? I agree you should keep an eye on it. It could be mites or some kind of parasite but if it doesnt spread I would think it is more likely to be the raw food. I would watch him eat more closely if you havent already to see how much the food rubs against his skin. Maybe he is sensitive to the food right there if it stays there for long. Do you wash his face afterward? Just some ideas I have for you. |

| Re: What could this be? ¿So in this case a picture is worth 10 words-ish? From what is barely visible there, it resembles the countless bite marks on the sleds. |

You try taking a picture of an 18 month old 64 pound german shepherd that DOESNT want you grabbing his face and flashing some box in it! |

| Re: What could this be? The dog I dogsit for had something like that under his chin, an area with hair loss and bumps, and it turned out to be a bacterial infection. I'm not sure what the treatment entailed, but he had to wear a cone. |
