blood in stool

i recently got a new puppy, a 10 week old shnoodle and shes been perfectly fine until now. last week she started having really runny poop. i didnt really think anything of it i just thought it was something i fed her.
then just a couple day ago it had blood in it.she has access to water and dry puppy food all day and i feed her wet puppy food in the mornings. she has still been playful and energetic and has had no changes in attitude that im aware of. does anyone have any idea what this is or what could be causing it?

thankyou

If a puppy has diarrhea or vomiting for any reason it should be taken seriously. Take your dog into the vet or go to an emergency vet. Most vets have an emergency service that isn't for extreme emergencies, but doesn't require an appointment. Like Banfield in Petsmart. She could have eaten something and it's cut her stomach lining or her intestinal wall or something along those lines. Or it could simply be stress, which happens. But if it happens for a couple days they are prone to dehydration and that's another problem starter. Seeing as it's been over a week and now there's blood, take her to the vet asap.

I agree. She should be taken to a vet immediately for a checkup. I would, however, withhold any wet (canned) food for now until her diarrhea stops. My vet has also suggested adding rice to their diet if it continues.
