Unshifted is on a distinguished road
Tinder is home. But now he won't go to the bathroom.

Hey,

I got so much help last time I posted that I wanted to pick your brains about this.

Tinder is doing alright. He is really sleepy and still dizzy but he's home, and alright. But now I have another problem. He is really weird about his food. He's been eating boiled chicken lately but sometimes he doesn't want anything to do with it. So I'll give him a hot dog. He's losing weight and already too skinny, so I'll do anything to see him eat.

But he doesn't poop for days at a time. And when he does go, it's loose. It's not watery but it's definitely wet and mushy. And he hardly ever goes to the bathroom anymore. He definitely pees a lot. He's on Presnisone and has kidney problems so he pees a ton. He has a LOT of gas, so I'll take him outside and be patient with him and he just doesn't want to go.

I just took him out now and he just sat down in the grass. This isn't normal for him, and I think he is weak. Even when he DOES try to go to the bathroom, he's dizzy so he falls over sometimes when he's squatting to go. He also walks around the yard for a LONG time. Because it's wet and not hard, he has to work extra hard to push it out, I guess?

I don't know. I'm worried because he's not going. I'm going to call the vet but do you know if this can damage him really bad? He went to the bathroom a little bit this morning but it's usually days in between. And the gas is...blah.

I feel like anything I do causes damage. He's old and I know it's going to be his time soon. I just want him to be as comfortable as possible. I don't feel like he's comfortable now.

Thank you guys for your help.
