To the vet we went!

Lily just wasn't acting right this morning, really lethargic (wanted to sleep in her crate and I had to drag her out to go potty - this was at noon!) then she ate but didn't want to do anything after that but sleep...then had diarrhea...I was freaking out...she acted like a puppy with Parvo and I was spazzing, since she's had all her puppy shots.
So I called my vet (the local country vet) who, as sweet as he is, can't hear a thing...asked if my dog was having puppies is what I said? I laughed and said Noo, she's sick, and he said "aww well bring her in I can't hear on the phone" -
So I brought her in. I picked her up out of the car and walked in, and had runny bloody goo all over my arm...the vet looked at her and said she had an abcess (which in all it's lovely glory had ruptured on my arm on the way in) - PHEW! At least it wasn't a disease! Good morning scare!

She's definetely more chipper but still wants to just sleep.
I'd definetely rather have an abcess than parvo or distemper (she was acting so bad I was stressing out praying it wasn't that) - at least it goes away with penicillan and a go-home-and-rest doctors order
