White discharge from 5 mo old pupp

I have a 5 month old white GSD, will get spade on the 5 of june, and today she had white discharge come out of her private area. Is this anything to be worried about? does this mean she is coming to heat or anything? I know they can go into heat as early as 4 months so i was wondering if this is first sign of her going into heat. If anyone knows what this is please let me know cause this is the first time it's ever happened. I will be calling the vet tomorrow to ask what this means but i want to know if thismeans anything b4 itomorrow

It's not uncommon for young females to develop a case of vaginitis which would cause a white discharge. In most cases it's nothing serious but you do need to talk to your vet and see what he suggests.

Hmm, this is a tough one. Are there any other symptoms? Sores or anything? Any chance your dog has been exposed to Canine Herpes Virus, either from her mother or another dog?

Sometimes this will cause a discharge, but it is tough to say with limited info. You can read more about the syptoms at the link below to see if they look familiar. Good luck!
