At last post Legend was being tested for EPI which came back with low levels. We are going in on Monday for Addison testing on Monday. I just hope and pray this could be our answer to almost a year of suffering. Does anyone know if their is a certain diet he will have to be on? I had my standard poodle tested for Addisons Disease- thank goodness it was negative but I did a heck of a lot of research. If your dog does have Addisons they have to be put on meds, and then they are tested every three months or so until they seem stabilized and then every six months--but most importantly, is their stress level.
If your dog does have Addisons they will live it is just a matter of med management and keep stress levels low.
