problems holding head up..Please Help...

My name is Niki and i have a 10 y.o chow/shepard mix. She has had her share of joint issues, but that is with age. For the past week, i have noticed she is having a problem holding her head up. she just kind of mopes around. She has the shakes, and her back is humped up, most likely from keeping her head down. Any ideas? I am completely stumped.

What does your vet have to say about it?

A 10 yo with head hanging and back in a hump.... I would say she is having neck and back problems and most likely in pain. Please have her examined by your vet ASAP.

The combination of age, shaking and not being able to keep her head up is an indication you need to see a vet as soon as possible.
