Update: Roe's back to normal!!!

Yay! Roe is back on a new kibble (California natural Chicken & Rice Puppy) full force. She had her first full kibble meal last night after a transition period. I was praying for good results. So far, she's taken to it nicely. She had a nice solid poop this morning (I never thought I'd be so happy to see a poop).

Thanks everyone for chiming in...this forum has been a great help. This is my first time having a dog, and just want the best for them!

my dogs have always done well on california natural.... sometimes the other foods just have to many ingredients for a dog with a sensitive stomach.... I am glad she is settled in and doing well.... and yeah its amazing how excited dog people can get about poop

Re: Update: Roe's back to normal!!!

Thanks, it's a lot more work than I ever anticipated. I knew it was a commitment, I truly (though I hate to admit it) didn't realize how MUCH of a commitment it was going to be. I'm having the time of my life with them though and love them so much. I am thankful that I am financially stable enough to take care of them (they will have cost me easily $1000 in the last two months alone)

Training -$200
$315 spay/neuter next week (and will probably be more by the time I walk out)
$300 in mange treatment
$150 food (two bags canidae, one medium bag of CN, chicken/beef for when Roe was sick)
$100 in toys and treats (this is an estimate)
$34 doggy daycare trial day
$40 - first trip to the groomer

Not to mention the $300 camera I'm about to buy so I can take better pictures!

Gosh...If I could only spend a third of that on myself I'd be happy. But, I guess indirectly..it is. I get so much out of taking care of them.

That's good to know. However, I've only got half a bag left and Mac is still on it. I'll just finish it out on him...and then transition. I actually may keep him on it...just depends on how difficult it turns out being keeping them on separate foods.
