Do you use FRONTLINE spray-on treatment?

Since I have so many dogs, I opted to go with Frontline Spray versus the standard Frontline. It says to spray them all over and it can last up to 90 days, and not to administer it any early than every 30 days. We live out in the country and are surrounded by woods. So far, I have never had any problems with fleas or ticks and I want to make sure it stays that way. Does the Frontline spray really work as well as it sounds to?

Yes it is an excellent product. It does have better coverage than the spot on product. The only thing I can tell you that is negative is that it is very labor intensive for large breed dogs. One more thing sometimes the person applying the product can have an allergic reaction. Take care to not inhale the product and apply in a well ventilated area.

Thanks! I got out the latex gloves and sprayed everybody yesterday. I understand why you need to be in a well ventilated area; even being outside it has a very strong odor. It was alot more labor intensive and time consuming than just using the spot on, but if it works that well, then it is definitely worth the extra effort. I do like the fact that they don't have any greasy spot on the back of their neck. Once they dried off, I didn't even smell the Frontline anymore. The dogs didn't seem to have any problem with it, so I think we found our new flea and tick preventitive.

Frontline spray does not kill the eggs only the flea and the larvae.Only frontline plus kills the hatching eggs. It's on the label.
