seizure like head shakings

hi i've never used one of these forums but, i'm in school to become a vet. tech., and i've asked my teachers but they don't know. my dog frannie started to shake her head this week, not like an ear problem, slower shakes more like palsey or something. i googled it and have found a lot of people with the same symptoms especially in specific breeds like dobermans, bulldogs, cavalier king charles spaniels, and greyhounds. a lot of people say feeding a small bit of food helps, i haven't gotten to try this yet but i will. the strangest thing is my last dog did the same thing. she was a fifteen year old terrier or schnauzer mix, and it happened so infrequently i wasn't worried, my dog now is one year old total mutt, some pit some australian shepherd. i don't live in the same place, feed the same food, nothing is the same between my two dogs, if this is so commom why doesn't anyone know what it is? anyone?

If you are at a veterinary college, take your dog in and have him checked top to bottom. He could have debris in his ear, or it could be a tumor. Sounds like a good learning case to me.
