Mr Bigsby is not feeling well, do you know what it could be

We changed the flavor of his food but not the company and I changed him over slowly... We were done with the change over yesterday .... So for breakfest he got the new flavor with out any of the old.....He did eat it all ..... We were out from 9am till 2pm...I fed him at 4 and he just picked at it and he drank some water..... Then he ran to the door and flew down step and had a loose poo.... Oh and he has been really gassy...Like clear the room gassy...... Is this because of the food change...?

It could be.

Or it could be a virus, a parasite, a bacterial infection, something he ate (that you didn't feed him) or any one of a dozen other things.

Most of the time, if I'M sick, I don't know what caused it without going to the doctor.

Well then I guess you just wait it out. If it doesn't clear up in a week or so you might want to switch or switch back, in case she's allergic to something in the new food. Some dogs are super sensitive though.

If you don't think it's the food, you can always get a second opinion at another vet.
