I didn't read the article fully, but it does seem a bit scary to me because, the virus may be evolving into something scary and the variants are a result of differential immune pressures. If this is true, the efficacy of known vaccines is in question.
See I got the same basic fears right away, but then later on they said basically not to worry?!?!
So CPV-2c is real, but... there was alot of "buts" there. And then the bringing up of the 70's (or what ever era that was again) and how its not going to be a repeat, but could be??!?!
I have never been so confused by an article. I should go re-read it again.
