Wow, how nice. What a lovely climate you must have! It gets so hot here in summer if we don't close the door quickly enough the mosquitoes come into the house. Me jealous!

Another thing is that it's so dry here in the summers as well, which is why no mosquitos. It is very rare you ever see any, even by the river. I guess one thing that really helps too is there's really no standing water anywhere. So that's a biggie. Now over by the mountains where it's more damp, and lots of small ponds and standing water, mosquitos are everywhere. But it's like an hour drive away to get there. Standing water = breeding grounds for mosquitos. We also get very little rain, if any at all. It's always so brown here in the summers, lol. The only green is where you regularly water the grass and shrubs, lol.
