Since this is following a bite wound and is under it, I would bet that it is a seroma which is just a collection of bloody fluid in an area that has been traumatized. You should still see the vet though, because it could also be an abscess. If it is an abscess they will probably lance it to drain it, possibly put in a drain, and put him on antibiotics. If it is a seroma, they may do the same thing, or just drain it with a needle and it may fill up again, but will probably eventually go away on its own. |
