Question Puppy hit by car

I have a 5 month lab/husky mix puppy that was hit by a car today. He was taken to the vet and they couldnt find anything wrong with him other then they said he is going to be sore. My question is he doesnt want to move at all. Not even to go out to go to the bathroom. I know that this is probably normal but should I be making him get up and walk? The vet didnt give anything for pain. Is there any thing that I can do to make him more comfortable? I'm worried that he isnt going to bounce back or will this take awhile? Any help or suggestions would be helpful.

If you feel something is wrong with your dog get a second opinion. However I do not know what is normal for a puppy after being hit by a car.

Like Akirale said, if you think there is something wrong don't hesitate to get a second opinion! I think the questions you asked are best for a vet to answer-call him to ask him do you make him move, how to make him comfy, how long to recover...I really think you should ask a vet these questions instead, being that he knows the dogs situtaion first hand. If you feel there is something wrong, get another opinion

Did the vet do any X-rays or even offer pain meds? The fact that your pup is not willing to move is most likey an indicator that he's in some sort of pain or discomfort. That's or he's really tired from his traumatic ordeal, I know I certainly would be if I was hit by a car. Personaly I would call the vet and inform him of your pets current condition and he if doesn't give satisfactory advice then I would get a second opinion from another vet.
