| Re: Does dog have infection or just maturity? I would definitely do a vet check, but, like Shalva, I have seen this sort of discharge on my boy and he is fixed. According to my vet, male dogs are always producing a bit of fluid between the fuzzy outer sheath of the penis and the smooth, pink shaft inside. The purpose of the fluid is, of course, to lubricate the penis in the event that it is going to be used. Sometimes a bit of that fluid leaks out and sometimes a dog overproduces it for no particular reason. |
