You need to tke your new pup to the vet and get her DE-wormed. Most over the counter dewormings used by aren't as effective as the ones prescribed by vets. What did the worms look like? Long Spagheti like worms are round worms, small rice crispy like worms are tapeworms.

It would be best to take a fresh (within 4 hours or up to 8 hours in the fridge) stool sample into the vet to have them do a fecal parasite exam to see exactly what she has. Intestinal parasites are common in pups, and there are many kinds, and there isn't just one dewormer to kill all parasites. Worming and deworming are the same thing. The pup has lived this far with them, so getting through tonight isn't a big deal, just gross. But definetely get a sample (if not the dog too for a puppy checkup) into a vet tomorrow.

You really want to take the pup in as you want the pup checked out anyway. Even without worms, which are normal in puppies, you want to get the dog to the vet so they can examine it and start the shot process. The pup will need to go several times over the next few months. Might as well do this right away as you have the worm problem. Congrats on the new pup.
