Re: Hemp????

Anyone?? I've heard it can be used externally for itching and sores on humans. I have an organic source and want to know if it's safe for dogs.

Re: Hemp????

I know some people who homecook that give it internally once in a while. I think it's got omega 6 as well as omega 3 though, so many people who consider using it for a fatty acid source usually just go for something higher in omega 3s. I'm not sure what else it can be used for, but I'm pretty sure it's considered 'safe' for dogs.

Re: Hemp????

I wish i could help you but I use hemp oils for myself and it does do wonders for everything. From burns, and ant bites and even bee stings. I use it every night before bed on my hands it relieves dryness too.

Re: Hemp????

Wifey brought home some hemp shampoo at one point. It was pretty nasty stuff. I know that helps you out a lot!

Re: Hemp????

I don't use it but I don't see the harm of using it on a dog since it's a good product for humans. (I am pretty sure you know but just in case there are no hallucinogens in hemp)

Maybe you could do a skin test for your dog as we human do when we are trying a new product.
