| Re: Vision If it's something genetic, like progressive retinal atrophy, then there's really nothing you can do (though for one type of PRA there is a supplement that may help slow the process down).
If you suspect vision problems, the dog should be seen by a board certified opthamologist who can properly diagnose any eye conditions. Around here, you need a referral from your regular vet to see the specialist.
My guess is that you just have a young puppy that hasn't learned that balls go up and down in addition to side to side and that she hears or smells things that you can't and that's what she's barking at. I'd provide her a good quality kibble - that should be all she needs. |
