My lab pup will be 4 mos. old this week (21st) of Nov. Can she be going into heat already?? Isn't she too young??

That is a bit young. It is usually around 6 months. It isn't impossible though. Why do you think she is in heat? What signs are you seeing?

4 months is pretty young. I'd say at least 6 months old for her first heat, but possibly closer to one year old.

You will notice she is licking her vulva alot and will start to pee alot more than usual. (to let the boys know). Her vulva will be VERY swelled and you'll know it. She will then start to bleed and all that.
