Your sister has a right to get her records, and most vets don't have any problem with this. They may require her to sign a form to get them, but most likely if she has the new vet call over to her old vet and ask for them, they will probably fax them over to them. It is done all the time, and if he won't do it, that is when I would call the local veterinary medical association and get them involved.

If she stops the check, it will probably get harder to get the records. It may also be illegal to put a stop payment on that check, because she paid for services that were rendered, and that she authorized.

I don't know what kind of tumor it is, but it sounds aggressive, and they may have to take a very large area so they get the whole thing. I hope it is being biopsied to find out what it is. She may need to see a specialist.

Angry seems like dr screwed up.

Should this doctor keep charging her over and over again for his botched operations twice, Now he does blood test after two operations give me a break the more I think about this the more Id like to get back at this guy.

Is it a botched operation, or an aggressive tumor that is growing at a very fast rate? I don't know, but it is odd. Even if he didn't get all the tumor in the first surgery, it is odd that it is growing back so fast. Why don't you see what the second vet has to say before making any decisions.
